Edge Computing
There is a misconception that Edge Computing and IoT (Internet of Things) are the same thing. but the fact is that Edge Computing is a location-sensitive form of distributed computing,
while IoT is the use of Edge Computing as a case instinct.
The purpose of this technology is to make a closer relationship between data centers and the edge of the network and move the computation away.

Therefore the aim of this fantastic computer program is to exploit smart objects, mobile phones, or network gateways to perform tasks and provide services on behalf of the cloud.
In this computer technology, data can travel between distributed nodes that are connected via the Internet,
and require specialized encryption mechanisms independent of the cloud. Edge nodes can also be resource-related devices.
which limits the choice in terms of security methods.

it brings analytical computational resources closer to end-users.
therefore it improves application responsiveness and throughput.
A well-designed Edge platform will significantly advance a traditional cloud-based system.
Some applications rely on shorter response times, which makes them a considerably better alternative than Cloud Computing.
Edge devices: We already use devices that do Edge Computing every day like smart speakers, watches,
and phone devices that are locally collecting and processing data while touching the physical world.
Internet of Things (IoT) devices, point of sales (POS) systems, robots, vehicles, and sensors can all be edge devices—
if they compute locally and talk to the cloud.
Network edge: Edge Computing doesn’t require a separate “edge network” to exist it could be located on individual edge devices or a router, for example.
5G brings extremely powerful wireless connectivity with low latency and high cellular speed,
which brings exciting opportunities like autonomous drones, remote telesurgery, smart city projects, and much more.
The network edge can be particularly useful in cases where it is too costly and complicated to put Computing on-premises.
